Breaking news from 1964

Hi everybody Im sure I cant be the only one but when I removed the head lining from Daisy the other day I found a Sunday Express dated September 13 1964 :D the main headline is RAF READY TO BOMB SUKARNOS BASES IN MALAYA useing V-bombers, and a mention of a new pop group called The Rolling Stones Mick Jager age 20 a former London School Economics student,Materialistic Although they allow themselves only £50 a week spending money the Stones will earn some £300.000 in the next year [:0].
Concord is allmost ready to fly the ENGLISH and French team hope to beat the Americans into the air.
Its been and gone feels a bit strange I guess Im getting old.

I love finding stuff like that... Loved Concorde too, was lucky enough to be living near London when the last 3 flew over for the last time... was very sad, everyone in the street just stood still and watched them coming in to land for the last time, bought a tear to my eye.. lol but then i had a tear in my eye at the new forest at in my first commervoy :)

All I found under no.1's headliner was cobwebs dust dead flies & spiders now (residing in Sybhil) :Dsybhil had no newspaper either perhaps I should pop one in for prosperity.

Hi Had a holiday in Selsey once, Friend of ours won a week in a Chalet,At 7.30 am on the Monday morning there a knock at the door and a voice says we've come to decorate the inside of the Chalet, (could'nt let it that week so gave it away as a raffle prize), Nice eh!!! and did'nt tell us. That must be why i got a commer camper, sorry (RAN) Dodge. Nick
