At this price I think i might make some tooling to stamp these out..the rubber its self is cheap enough

I'm pretty sure there'd be takers. As long as a repro was made to a considerably lower quality, the new ones could last 5 years tops, maybe. As opposed to 40 years + That could mean a nice little turnover too

That could mean a nice little turnover too Take a 40 plus one out a few times and then see it split. Nah.. carpet, far cosier. A quality offcut.. flotex or something (doesn't mind gettin a bit damp), and then a small rubber foot mat on top... always did like to be different... (that's why we have a Commer living in Cornwall!!)
