brake master cilinder

hi all

i'm looking for an alternative for the brake master cilinder ,since the org one is a single system for both front and rear ....since my Fan is changed into an automatic transmission with a ford sierra 2.o l engine

I want to convert it into a dual system ,front and rear separate fluid compartments

I still have the org drums and already a brakebooster is installed

so does anyone have a great suggestion for a dual system ?
I don't mind doing some modifications for the master brake to the pedal

but I would like to keep my brake cilinders since they are still in good condition

You will need to find a brake booster that is suitable for a dual circuit system, the one you have fitted will only have one outlet for single circuit. Try searching for dual circuit remote brake servo (booster). Either that or two boosters feeding separate circuits. A dual circuit master cylinder would help of course but no idea which one, maybe try kit car suppliers.
I don't think the original master cylinder would work with two servos due to the extra capacity needed to operate them, but a bigger diameter one might work.

the brake booster I have is alreay for either one or two brake lines ,now theres only one connected
the other outlet is plugged

I have looking at the VW type 2 master brake cylinders the later ones without the booster ,might be just what I need
because also front and rear drums ,and similar diameters and similar in weight (type 2 and the commer)

but not sure yet , and they are too damn pricey to just try one out

I was thinking Land Rover as I'm pretty sure Bonnie has a LR clutch master cylinder fitted so the brake MS could well be a fit.
