Brake Lights

I have an unusual problem where my brake lights stay on,it seems the weight of the pedal is all it needs to activate them.
Is there an adjustment or is just a case of a new hydraulic switch

Is the hydraulic switch wired in? sometimes owners fit a micro switch under the pedal, I had the sme problem and it was the pedal just touching the side of the switch bracket and not pushing the switch in - the switch has to be pressed in to turn off.
Or it could be your handbrake switch sticking on.

Yes - if you are checking on your own and have the handbrake on that often leaves the brake lights on

Tiggers come on with the handbrake...I can show you where the switch is Mark if that's the case

They say always look for the simplest things first, just one of the leads only just connecting on the switch
