I recently received these two books in the post, they came from a friend I have made. We are both in the TSSC (triumph sport six club). He contacted me after I wrote an article about my van restoration one month for our club magazine.
It turns out this guy knows Commers very well, he was quality control for the PB production line for nearly all of its production run.
The facts he comes out with are very impressive and he has some amazing story's to tell.
Anyway who has seen the salesman's handbook before? I was just wondering how rare it is. It is full of some interesting warding ;-)
Would be great getting him to one of the meets and have a talk on Commer production. I'm sure he would have a lot of interesting info and great anecdotes to share.
I'm pretty sure that most of us would appreciate this a great deal, and he would get a very interested (anorak even) audience.
