I think we've probably already talked about this book but upon being dragged Christmas shopping this morning I had a quick look in our local bookshop. I found proudly displayed on a promo stand 'Classic camper Vans - The Inside Story'. I was instantly drawn to the Commer on the front cover and inside the Commers just kept coming, great book from what my brief glimpse could see.

I think my wife may have taken the hint...

The Bush Pig is golden again thanks to Tamiflu;-)
 
It used to be such a nice van until it fell into the clutches (knackered at that) of the Bush-pig [V]

But the book is still a mighty interesting read. :)

I can strongly recommend it, as it has a world of facts and information between the covers. And lots of nice photos.
 
And if you look closely at the photo of a line of vans at the top of the contents page, you'll see a little green Tourstar called "Pootle" poking her nose out:D

And a less interesting picture of the back of her on page 162. And yes, over the winter, i will be getting rid of those terrible net curtains....
