Bluebell

Yeah I can imagine:) Had a long day at it today with lots of help from a very good friend. Really appreciate his help but he made a few negative comments towards the end of the day and it kinda deflated me a little. Feeling much more positive again now. I just think we kinda over killed it a bit today, Rome wasn't built in a day, might have a day off from it 2moz and just go out and enjoy Smurf:D

I think Smurf started to cry a little today.........or a little water leak maybe, don't want her feeling left out now, do we!

Take lots of pictures to refer to later - don't rely on memory (if it's as bad as mine you'll be knackered:I) That also means you can share the gory details with us. It's good to have someone knowledgeable to help out, especially a friend, but they are bound to express their opinion - if only to to bring you back to reality for a while. A lot of work and a lot of time to spend but you know that once it is done you will know your van better than anyone - and you will will be able to say 'We did that' [8D]

Absolutely Panky:D

Had alot of laughs today when we were pulling up the lino floor! the sticky residue left on the timber was just SO sticky! our feet were getting stuck to the floor big time:D the times we nearly lost our shoes, let alone our balance lol.....the school boy in me couldn't resist giving Cazz a little push lol

Got lots of pics today, will get Cazz to post them 2moz. Your pics of the floor in Harvey perked us up, thank you:D

Fathers day coming up - I'm sure the kids would just love to empty their piggy banks and buy you a MIG [8D]

Now wouldn't that be just lovely.....and a grinder please boys lol

Another friend up the road from me (the guy who transported Bluebell) has offered to spend a few hours with me teaching me to weld just as soon as I can get my hands on a Mig:D

Can't wait until I get one and get that first new bit of metal in place...really excited:D

Had to smile at Josh the other day (he's our 12 yr old, 13 next Sat) he asked Cazz if he could have money for his birthday, and when Blubell arrived, he asked if he could give his money to me, towards Bluebell.........all say ahhhhh!

There is an ulterior motive here. He knows that by the time you've finished Bluebell he will be old enough to drive and he will gently remind you of his 'investment' and call in the loan;).

Seriously what a great kid - he has a good sense of what is important[8)]

It's a strange thing! He has ADHD and he is a real handfull and very badly behaved most of the time, we have teachers on the phone most days because of his disruptive behaviour etc

Yet out of the others (I guess Oliver doesn't quite count yet) get him on his own and he is like an angel, so kind and thoughtfull

I guess every one needs something to focus their attention and energies on - Bluebell could be Josh's :)

You know, I kinda got over the shock of Bluebell arriving now. I didn't have a clue until about 2 mins before she arrived (last time I leave my wife and best friend alone lol) they had been secretly plotting together for about 2 weeks lol

had a right laugh at some of the text messages they had sent each other.........imagine I had read through her phone[:0] ''Colin will leave for work at 5.30am, pop round and see me early'' etc[:0]

You get the picture lol funny as hell:D

In that last 2 mins I kinda had a feeling a Commer was about to arrive, didn't believe it, but had this feeling! Thought it may be the Red one we found a mile or so up the road. Everyone was staring at me waiting for my reaction and I just could not speak except for walking around it and saying ''kin el''

So mixed up emotions of being dead chuffed and dead scared at the same time, looking at the passenger side of roof....and voices saying Erm....best look at drivers side!!

As you can tell I'm not so speechless now lol, lol:D

Josh is joining a Banger racing club where they teach them to do all sorts to cars etc and may get a chance to drive too! We are hoping it will help him with his confidence and self pride. The guy who transported Bluebell, his son goes (he can be a troublesome lad) and its done him the world of good:) He has been driving sinse he was 8 years old (sorry Panky but he drives a Mini) on the banger racing circuits

It's obviously a non-contact sport isn't it [:(!] If I see Josh racing that orange PB - me and you might fall out;)
Get then to stick with Astra's and Fiesta's and I'll have no complaints[}:)]
