If anyone has received an email from me, sent last night or in the early hours of this morning, then please don't open it but delete it. Looks like my email account has been hacked and random messages sent out so god knows what the message contains. Bloody spammers[:(!]

Thanks for the info John, I got a message about viagra and some other stuff but didn't bother to open it, I deleted and then put the sender on the blocked list. First thing that I thought was, " what a cheek, I may be 73 but I don't need that stuff just yet " but I did wonder how they had got my email address. Thanks for letting us know.

Someone hacked into my emails a while ago as well, a lot of my contacts wondered why I was sending such random emails.

A new record was set today[V] I check all the applicants to the forum and get between 6 to 10 spambots a day trying to sneak in - occasionally we actually get a genuine applicant:) this morning when I logged on there where 53 hopefuls in the pending list - all of which were suspicious in some way. We're under attack it would seem[:(!]

I constantly get emails from, Facebook, Paypal, Natwest, Barclays, HMRC, Companies House all of which are fake and invite you to click on malicious links. Some of them look so real it amazes me and I have to log on to HMRC/Companies House to actually check! I've also been cold called by some random dude telling me my card has been cloned and to ring a number to confirm my details.... There are so many scams operating now days you have to be very careful.
