Just uploading photos and vids but wanted to say that I had a great time despite the weather and the small amount of traffic in Blackpool! Thanks to the team for organising it, to Colin and Helen for the lift, to Bernie and Heidi for the accommodation, to Heidi and Barb for keeping me fed and to the Belgians for the cabaret!

Great weekend, we were all taken aback when Christian arrived from Belgium, after being stopped at Hull and given the once over by the drugs squad [:0] The only 'Grass' they found, was stuck to the sides Amazing job he had done on his van, this time took home the 'Members choice' trophy
Everyone joined in with the decorated vans We all had a great time driving down thru' the lights a Blackpool, even though Christian had to be pushed part of the way :I
Rosie's back end was down a bit, with the 8 peaple on board :I

Nice pic's Baz
My luck don't improve[!] got home from work thursday evening to find wet carpets and water all over the floors [:0][:0].
Turns out the radiator in sons bedroom sprung a leak while he has been in Ibiza on hol's and i didn't know untill carpets wet in an other room. So spent a rather unenjoyable few days clearing up the mess,drying everything out that was salvagable,stripping wallpaper and trying to dry out walls etc using de-humidifiers,hence no Blackpool[B)][B)][!][!][xx(].
Hope you all had a great time. Got to make Coventry meet now or it'll be the whole year gone without seeing you lovely people[V]

Martin thank you for setting the carburator and I will promise a complete maintenance of the engine:I
830 Miles with almost no problems... EXCEPT
Hull to go through customs administrative problem with drug dog[!]
To return the police van stop the identity check and driver'licence.
The licence is stayed home:I and Peter had a provisonial license, thankfully.
The defective brake light on the right. repaired on the spot (bad contact). We can go back
New customs control[!],trouble free
belgium front tire bursting, very difficult to loosen the wheel happily with the new exhaust pipe, we can release the lever and the wheel bolts[8D]

We're back after a brilliant long weekend[8D] Those who have posted since their return have said it all really but thanks again to the Gladys Crew for putting the bash together[^]
It was a great little campsite and Dave the owner came visiting in a couple of his vehicles as he did his daily rounds, the first was a Granada police car wich I could see Baz was most impressed with The second was his little MG RV8 runaround that burbled deliciously as he pulled up for a bacon buttie.
Just to show that we did actually have some sunshine (before anyone else arrived:I) a few pics of us setting up Camp Commer.
Baz's Bedroom arrives in some style

Apart from some severe hypothemia and an outbreak of trenchfoot it was a total success, even if Blackpool isn't your thing put this site in you book of places to visit.
