Black number plates.

Hi I was wondering where the best place is to go to get the old black number plates? I want to put them on my commer but have tried a fe places and they only do the knew ones.

They are very similar to the ones I got for Bonnie but the place I got them from doesn't seen to be trading now:I

Hi Andrew . I got my Ali and black plates from these folk. Lady I spoke to was nice and helpful and the service was quick.
The plates are pressed ali with a black vinyl coating for the back ground which did lift slightly around the fixings but they've been on for around five months and seem ok.

Remember though, only legal on vehicles pre-1973. From DVLA guidance:Traditional number plates for vehicles made before 1 January 1973
Vehicles made before 1 January 1973 may display traditional style “black and white” number plates, for example, white, silver or grey characters on a black plate.
