bigger hammer required?

Not sure if this helps or is what you are looking for but i was looking around the net for a cab bunk for an extra child/storage option and found this from Just Kampers website - I know it's predominately a Vee Dub site but was wondering with a little tinkering it may fit a Commer? Anyway here it is!

Sure, i understand that you are after the other bunks, twas just an option of an extra sleep place. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong but would i be wrong to presume that Vee Dub Dormobiles should by rights have the same bunks as a Commer? And therefore would be a direct replacement?

If in my previous post i'm right then this could be of use Commer_girl? Not sure that they have sold yet but the person selling reduced them on the 6thmay so possible they still have them? Good luck anyhow.

If they are a direct replacement then i would presume yes? You're very right, they're not cheap but it all depends on where you find them. These ones in particular are listed for sale on a Vee Dub website and pretty much charge one another what they like??? Just because it comes from a VW they seem to think that vans and all it's component parts should be through the roof expensive? Just look about is all i can suggest really, the price from one to another can be massively different. I saw 2 bunks on Fleabay last year go for £40.

Oh and all i typed into search engine was " Dormobile bunks " and chose a few from the top. ;-)

They are worth it. I got some from John Holmes (not the 70s legend;)) thanks John. Much better than the cab hung hammock.

Hey BigMonkey! I thought you were never going to show up! I would be interested in your bunks, however it's probably wise to buy a Commer first and then see if i need the bunks! Now all i need to do is find a cheap enough Commer!
