Hi all thanks for the carb advice I bought a new dierfram kit off eBay and fired loads of carb cleaner though and all seems fine ,how ever befor I moved
I paid a home visit mechanic to get her running as I had been stumped at getting her to run (£60) I think he had my eyes out as he didn't check the dia thing in the carb when it was running lumpy ,but he got it t run and that's what I wanted
So moving on,i have moved from Drax to pocklington now and have started tinkering tonight ,the thermostat has opened now but it is running hot ( I think that's because I can't drive it any were as she is not road worthy) but as I was reving . her up in the fading light I could see A big white lightening spark jumping across the exhaust outlet over the starter solinoid and starter motor as the revs dropped down ,so peeps anyone got any ideas what's going on
