Les, the Adventurer is everything Alan says and more. It's expensive but the cost of this vehicle in 1966 must have been immense, how can you put a price on something unique.
Looks really cool. All that space, it's a proper caravan on wheels. I remember when it was on sale previously i think it was white all over and looked like a bit of a wreck. You need a barn to keep to it though!
Been looking on the Netherlands club site, check it outwww.commer.org/ Best viewed on Windows for translation.
There is a few walk through vans in the Netherlands club, not the same as this one but still very unusual. many were school dental vans and fire engines back in the day.
Hi John, I didn't realise that he was a member of the forum, I just saw that he is a car dealer and I tend to not believe what car dealers say but I hope he isn't offended by what I said and I will apologise to him if he is. :I

Hi Les I'm sure Alan will forgive you just this once
I'm not defending him because he's a member but as someone I've met and got to know, we all make assumptions but it's wrong to tar any group of people with the same brush - no matter what that group is.
Thanks for your kind words Panky and Chris.
Les not all car dealers are rogues, there are good and bad in all walks of life. I treat people the way I would like to be treated, I have owned the Walk Thru for a year now and invested much time and a not inconsiderable amount of money on restoring her back to good health.
As you all know the old girl failed to sell on Ebay so it has earned a reprieve and will continue in my care for the foreseeable future.
I do love her but she drives me to distraction at times!
Hi Alan, I am really sorry about the assumption:I but I have met some real dodgy car traders, who would sell their granny given the chance. Not so long ago I went to look at a zafira and as soon as I walked in and started talking to him, I knew that he was not the sort of person who I would buy a car from, so I didn't. Still looking though.[:X][:X]
