Best material to cover inside the cab.

Hi I'm looking to cover the area in the cab where the lights and hoses are, which is under the windscreen and behind the steering column. It's got a carpet like material there at the moment. Has anyone got any suggestions?

The Auto-sleeper ones are thin ply covered in vinyl, I made one for Bonnie using Harvey's as a template. You could use the piece of carpet fitted to yours as a rough guide and trim the ply to fit before covering it.

Hi panky I've sourced some plywood. I'm going to cut it to shape next week. How did you attach it to the underneath of the dashboard?

Sorry Andy I missed your question on how thick the ply should be, I just got the thinnest that B&Q had - about 4mm I think. The panel is a push fit so no brackets or screws required, see if you can make a pattern out of cardboard first to get the basic shape.
