Battery naffed I think...

hi all

Like most, I dont use Smurf a great deal but the battery has always been very good. Yesterday I went to start her and the battery was dead, I put it on charge for an hour and topped it up a little with some cooled kettle water and away she went.

Had the alternator tested and it was charging ok.

Took the battery off and left on charge overnight. It was bubbling away this morning. I put it back on the van and there was not enough power to start it. I put my volt meter on it and showed just over 10 volts....so all plans for a day out were sharply brought to an end:(

So, I know I am asking the obvious, but my battery is knackered yes??



 
cheers... so now i will just get the best I can afford with the highest AH and CCA rating, I would imagine the following will be powerfull enough???

64AH & 640CCA ?

went for this, spent ages searching the net and this place g/tees to be cheapest....could of picked a battery for £30? but you get what you pay for at end of the day:)
