And relax

An aga.............hmm interesting :p

Panky, we're doing to do some sort of butchering of a blind that can be put on and off for the sun hole in the roof. That'll definitely be insulated, both to keep it cool as well as warm.

Hey Bass yes definitely recommend thermal blackout lining - cooler in summer, warmer in winter and you may end up asleep longer than others :)

Loads done, now booked for MOT on Monday so everyone please keep your fingers and toes crossed, pray, whatever it takes (although I'm sure Woolfy's work is top quality)

Big Bad Woolf

Look back a the photos on the first page of this thread and wonder at the marvel that is Woolfy !!! (OK with that mate? ;-) )

Patience passed her MOT. Couple of small holes in the exhaust that need some patching and a squealing diff (I think I've seen that band live!)but nothing that got in the way.

Brilliant[8D] It's been a long haul but what a result - just in time for the summer:I
At least you won't need to worry about MOT's all through the camping season[^]

Summer's Coming

Yep, all good. Get her home, sort out curtains and cushions and be ready for the spring. Already checked about using her at Bloodstock in August and Cambridge Folk Festival could be a lot more comfortable this year :)

I am pleased to report that On Saturday my Dad drove Patience away from Woolfy's all shiny and sexy (Patience, not my Dad). We stopped a couple of times to check the water level in the radiator and all was well until we got to Junction 15 of the M1. It sounded like there was something rattling against the inside of the van as as the revs when up or down the pitch of the rattle changed. We pulled over and as we did lots of steam came through the engine cover. Nice chaps from the Highways Agency stopped and gave us some water which we poured into the radiator........and it landed on the raod underneath. Bugger, as they say! She was recovered back to my Dad's drive in Watford and I now need to find someone to take a look at that and a couple of other things. Steering very drifty according to Dad, and temp and fuel guages not registering. So that's where we are. One step closer. Anyone know any experienced mechanics in or near Watford or somewhere I can have her delivered fairly inexpensively to that's trusted to look at all this stuff?

I appologise for the horrendous typing and spelling in that post.......I'm doing this in a rush at work and there's no spell check ;-)
