I assume it'll take a while again as will have to send off another cheque and wait for that to clear etc. Definitely going recorded delivery this time as at least I'll be able to prove it's been in their hands.

Evening all, I'm still here lurking in the background watching everything that's going on.

The latest is that the orginal cheque that was sent on the 7th April was cashed on the 22nd April but there's still no info at DVLA so I've had to write to the Dept that looks after Registrations with a copy of the bank statement and they'll investigate further.

I realy didn't expect this much hassle registering her....mind you once it's done it shouldn't need doing again. Moral of the story is always get the paperwork and make sure it's up to date.

Yep V62 all sent in. Hopefully they've not lost it as I can't find the bit of paper that has the chasis number on it....it'll be here somewhere. There is a possibility that there's confusion because there's not a SORN done at the same time but they're looking into that as I've pointed out that as soon as we get the V5? we'll get her MOT'd, taxed and not off the road. Fingers crossed it'll be sorted as they're being helpful even if it's only once everything has been messed up.

Mystery solved. Seems there was a mix up on the number of the reg plate so a nice chap from Quality Assurance at DVLA is on the case. Shouldn't be too long now...I hope.

Soooo sexy Mr Woolfy, not you, Patience, you too....oh heck you know what I mean :D. Still wating here. My band are shooting a low budget video at the end of the month and I was hoping that she'd be home by then....not holding my breath though!

not yet, got a very nice letter saying that they are going to process it next week (on the 28th to be precise!)......why they couldn't process it when the sent out the letter beats me but I guess they have a reason.
