Bass' Automatic Camper

im off down too the unit now to continue with the good work, i will let you all know how i got on later todat some time. but as of yet things are not going too bad. one or two slight problematic areas to contend with but nothing to serious which we cant handle i dont think.:p

we got quite a bit more done to this van today, its starting to resemble a van again now. another week or two and we will be off to the paint shop i hope, the finishing line is in sight, i just hope i can stand the pace and stay the distance. next week we are going to try and graft on the new upstand around the roof section which we had to cut off due to gangreen, but there will be a twist in the tale, you will have to watch this space, coz someone or something is gonna get it or pay the price.[:0][}:)]:p

cheers matey your a star once again. yes the van is nearing the end now, just the roof to sort out next week and the filling and shaping and sanding down ect of the rest of the van, then its off to the spray shop for its new coat of paint. then it will come back to the shop for its tune up and brake issues ect to be sorted, and then be built back up.once it goes off to be painted i will get one of the other vans inside the unit to blast into it.(or should i bring the panel van in for some treatment,or maybe the pick up?) mmmmmm i wonder.:p;)

i do i do, but the customers have to come first , but im very tempted, but i also want to get the van on the road as well, so i can go to shows and addvertise the buisness whilst selling a few panels out of the back of it.?mmmmm:p;) what should i do.[?]

look see what i mean the barrs are missing. for those of you who wonder what im talking about, im carrying on a conversation from over on hazels thread about side strenghtner barrs.;)[?]

i might not give it to you yet. i might have first dibs on test driving it for a month or two. only to make sure its safe for the roads of corse.;):p

ive just aquired a pair of back doors for a pop top pb commer van totally rust free which were destined for my van but are now going on basses van to help speed up the process so he can have it back sooner.(i must be mad).what am i doing. boy i hope he li[?][)]:pkes it when its finished.

It's weekly update time. All the bits are back together and she's back on her wheels. Will speak to Woolfy later and maybe more info after that.

As an aside, I thought I'd cheat and ask AutoSleeper for the measurements and design of the interior, unfortunately they had a fire in 1992 and lost all the records for models made before that date.
