I thought I had a problem with clutch adjustment....before I realised it's just coz I'm a midget and my legs aren't long enough to push the pedal all the way down
Glad you got there John, and once again your experience shared is a huge help to all[8D][8D]

Loads of activity in the BOTG over the last week
I've spent some of my retirement time (and money) sprucing things up and chucking a load of rubbish out (no Commer bits were hurt in the process). New racking now holds all the bits and bobs for the fleet and a dozen or so trips to the tip got rid of the sh**e, the Mini is resting in there at the moment and I can actually walk around it without injuring myself - result[8D]
Ready for the winter projects now
It stopped raining[8D] well most of he time:I
I got stuck in and managed a few hours on Bonnie today, at last. I'm working my way back from the drivers door step and have reached the front jacking point I've got one of Martin M's new ones to fit so all I needed to do was get rid of the old one. Most of the old box section was solid, with only minimal surface rust on the inside of the main part of it, so I was considering using a small section of the new one but as I cut back holes were appearing in the floor so the lot had to come out. I didn't want to start taking furniture out so I'm working from underneath and what a pain it is compared with the same repair I did on Harvey - that time I just cut a big hole in the floor and did must of the work from above. I took great pleasure in annoying the neighbours with the cutting disc, drill and hammer all afternoon and I'm left with a nice clean hole in the floor ready to take new metal, luckily there's not to much in the way of floor covering or wooden frames to set fire to but I'll have a hose on standby just in case when the welding begins - hopefully tomorrow
Just a big hole in the floor:I
I went out again today and attacked the area with a knotted wire wheel and sprayed everything with weld through primer, made up the floor repair sections and then the heavens opened. We had the mother of all hailstorms and it rained on and off for the rest of the day so no more progress[xx(]
What a glorious day is was, lovely sunshine, blue sky, and at times almost warm[8D] Just the kind of day for laying under a van with a MIG
There was a big hole were the front jacking point once was....
and now there's some new metal in there
Sorry about the crappy phone photos:I
I've also made and welded in the closing plate for the box section since the last one was taken - and started chopping out some more of the inner sill up to the next outrigger, I think I'll end up replacing the lot. I called it a day around five - I think the neibours had had enough[}]
