Gee shucks thanks[8)]
It all seems so long ago Harvey has been used a lot since. He'll be going back in soon out of the weather and for a bit of a refresh - the BOTG will be back:)

i look forward to it, always such an inspiration.....I thought you had twin SU's ? unless I missed something or got it wrong?

One biggun is enough for me[}:)]
Nickclubman has fitted a pair and they seem to work quite well.

ah, i was looking at Jules solution for the air filter and looks a bit complicated with his very clever piece of kit he made up, I'll take a look at nicks and see how he did his:)

Jules went the twin Strombergs route, they were the original carbs.

LOL, god I'm silly sometimes lol...either way it was how to tackle the issue of getting air filters on them without cutting some bodywork away:D

''COMMER'EnSayThat''

You can just get K&N cones in on the Strombergs - or pancake filters, unfortunately I had to do a bit of chopping:I Not sure what Nick did.

I am still looking into the air filtration on my twin su's. Took it to the garage for some fine tuning, should here from there tomorrow. Initial comments are that twin hif44s would be better as the 38's are an economy carb?!

Not that we want Harvey to be off the road, but still, really looking forward to some news here!!:p

How long has it been:)
Not exactly in the BOTG more up the side of the house but it's started again.
Fitted a new gas bottle and tested the stove, our first cuppa in Bonnie, the kettle was a pressie of my daughter:p

After all that faffing about it was time to start serious work.
A grotty step with an even grottier inner behind it[xx(]

I can't get to the ones near the A pillar so the door will have to come off, tried with an impact wrench and got one screw out but knackered the wrench[V] I think a bit of heat is in order[}:)]
