I don't think Harvey will ever be finished, I'm always fiddling and trying to improve things. The OD stopped working again, it had blown another fuse. Still didn't work when I fitted a new one[V]

Seriously I think it's probably a break in the wire running down the gearstick from the OD switch, I used speaker wire as a signal to the relay - I recon its been chafing against the housing at the bottom of the gearstick under the carpet[B)]

I taped the wire (round and round like a mummy) to the exterior of the lever. Couldnt think of a better solution as the lever isnt hollow.

I used heat-shrink tubing along the whole length of the gear stick to hold the wire in place. I think it's the bit where it emerges at the bottom that is the problem, I fitted a set of Woolfy's lovely carpets with a gaiter around the bottom of the gear stick and I'm wondering if I've pinched the wire against the housing. I'll find out tomorrow.
