Back of the garage

Is this exciting or what? [8D] :D [8D]

Harvey and Gladys will soon get to meet in real life with their new coats on [8D]

It could be the begining of a relationship [:0]

Cough splutter cough splutter.
No not the sound of Harvey bursting into life, me after a days squirting paint around:I Well the paint went on most of the panels but I've got to re-position to get to the other side.
Here's the wheels I got from Admin after a set of new boots and a couple of coats of paint.

Brush painted so not perfect but they will do the job'

Harvey waiting to be transformed

And after the first few coats

There's more runs than the London marathon and a bit patchy in places so plenty of rubbing down to do. I started of with the paint too thin and the front panel where I started looks like a set of curtains fron a curry house, it took a while to get the gun set right so the rest of the job should work out better. I do love the colour:p

And before anyone conmments the wine bottle next to the door has got two-stroke fuel in for my hedge trimmer - tastes awful[xx(]
By the way Mark you can hold a beer can and spray at the same time - trouble is it goes everywhere when you try and drink it with a mask on:I

Are you sure you didn,t spray it with shiraz Panky :D;)[?]

"You,re only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off"

That sound like a spritzer[xx(]
Don't need much beer tonight - those fumes are...intersting:I
First attempt was way too much thinners 50/50 mix. Next I'll try 75/25 paint/thinners and lay it on good and thick[8D]
My freebee compressor worked a treat[^]

Intersting indeed lol....I bet you feel exhausted mate, bloody well done that man[8D] bet you can't wait to get harvey's paint finished now so you can get him blinged up....you are going to feel so proud, knowing you did it all yourself:D:D[8D]

That's how I do things - if it goes wrong then it's my fault. But when it goes well there's nothing like it[^]
I'll spend a few evenings rubbing the curtains down, and sealing up the side of the BOTG between me and next door - there was quite a cloud drifting through apparently:I

You wouldnt want it looking brand new though John, old and faded with curryhouse curtains will give it that 'been out in the californian sunshine for thirty years' look...

Well done mate :D

Well done mate, you sure know how to get on with a job and do it! This is without doubt one of the, if not the, most anticipated resto to grace these pages!
