Had a busy day today
Started off by re-fitting the heater and fan assembly - without the hole in Harveys snout. I'd forgotten how powerful the fan is - flippin gale coming out of the vents, lets hope it's a warm gale in the winter:I Just need to get some heater hose to connect it up now.
Also did all the welding along the bottom of the nearside lower panel, quite pleased with most of it as the metal I was welding to was good but had to do a bit of fettling to make the panel fit the repair:I a little bit of filler needed to tidy things up. I was well pi**ed off when I was scraping and wire-brushing the underside last week, I poked a hole through the floor just in front of the wheel arch - about the size of a 50p - I thought I'd found it all[V] I wasn't about to rip the furniture and floor out again so I went ahead and did the repair from below - very carefully as I didn't want to set the wooden floor alight. Tack...tack...tack...tack and a blast with the hose pipe to cool things down. Inside the repair was under the fridge and the floor still felt warm, so I sat down and had a beer and waited.........After a pleasant few minutes quaffing a refreshing brew I declared my firewatch over and packed up for the day. Aquasteel and pics tomorrow

Welds dress up, Aquasteel liberally applied after another scraping and wire brushing session, much crap in eyes and ears and the radiator air scoop cleaned up and Aquasteeled. Sorry no pics as the camera was dead:I but you get the picture. I made a list out of the things that needed doing a few months ago, I've added a few things here and there but it is definitely getting shorter
