Had a good day on Harvey - very productive[^] All those holes in the floor had to be tackled so armed with my new auto-dimming welding mask work commenced.
The first bit of new metal to go back in - holes drilled and punched to pick up the chassis rails and floor edge.
The hole got a bit bigger - I chopped out a dodgy bit of floor edge while I was about it
All welded in[^]
And the floor edge repair sorted
Working back - the wheel arch was the next job. A couple of localised repairs before the big bit went in.
The last section followed the same pattern, cut to size - mark out where the chassis rails are and drill out for plug welds.
It was getting a bit late to start fettling the corrugated section (lots of banging:I) and I was knackered so that bit will have to wait until tomorrow
The Rapier lump is bored out 30 thou so that should compensate:I
I won't need an anti-roll bar upgrade - the body will be as stiff as my knees on a Sunday morning
