My 18 year old son gets annoyed with me when his mates turn up on the doorstep and I call out to him and ask him if he's going out to play! ;)

I'm working nights this weekend so not much opportunity to work on Harvey but did manage a couple of hours of rot chopping and cutting bits of floor out yesterday.

I suspected the jacking point was a bit dodgy under this so only one thing for it.

A small piece of inner cill to replace along with the jacking point but the rest of the box sections look fine - just surface rust that responded well to a scrape and a dash of Aquasteel[^]
A few more bits to cut out on the wheel arch before the new metal goes in but that will have to wait for a little while.

I've been guilty of a few bodges in the past as you can see by the patches on the wheel arch (but at least it's welded metal:I) but now it's time to put things right:)

Next up is to make the jacking point - I need a big vice to form the metal around the tube. It's either pick one up from the auto jumble tomorrow - or a visit to the workshop in work at some point - auto jumbles usually come up trumps:I.
