Tch! Cazz just told me that she didn't post it today[V] but promises to post it 2moz:D She can normally pop out from work but didn't get a chance 2day....

Oh! I thought you had gone back to work lol

I'm off next week[8D][8D]

Remember them flippin mice - the ones who ate me Quo 8 track[:(!] Well I found more evidence of them when I took the fridge out. On the floor under the fridge there where little piles of red and black plastic shavings - it was easy to see where the black stuff had come from - the little darlings had been chewing on the plastic coating on the copper gas pipe[V] It took a while to figure out where the red chewings had originated from - the wife spotted it - I had the fridge on its side on the workmate and there you could see they'd been at the red button you push in to lite the pilot flame[xx(]. Strange thing is there are sleeping bags under the seats and they haven't touched them :I

Why would they want to ruin thier own bedding??

Just be careful not to wake them up.........wonder what else you will find inside the sleeping bags, that they have carefully stored there!?!

Poor Lady:I I did say I had a BIG rodent problem[}:)]

The new brake master cylinder seal kit arrived today (thanks Martin:D) but we were out for the day so didn't get much time to play. Still managed to re-build the master cylinder and put it back though. I got the old Gunsons Easy-bleed out and did the clutch - we have a clutch:D Had a go bleeding the brakes but managed to blow one of the pistons out of a rear cylinder (at least that's what I hope it is) The adjusters are wound right back - a bit too far me thinks[V] but it was getting late so I'll have a look tomorrow.

Started adjusting the brakes up so I could bleed them properly - but then it all went horribly wrong[V]
Everything was fine, adjusted up three of the wheels then started to jack up the rear near side (the one that was leaking) but I noticed the jack was pushing against the lower panel and had created a nice curve in the bottom of it[V]. Bugger - another jacking point to do - so I started poking around with a big screwdriver but could not find and serious rot around the chassis rail - the floor looked a bit suspect so out came the fridge again :I. After chopping out the floor covering the floor did look a bit flaky so I set about cutting it back to good metal - but then I noticed something a bit odd.

The eagle eyed amongst you will notice the lack of floor edging that should be joined to the seam between side and fluted panel - so I peered down behind the seat and lifted up the quilted covering. As far as I could see it was the same all the way along - the only answer was - have a proper look :I

Everything had to come out but you can see the inside of the fluted panel (liberally daubed in wax-oil)but nothing joining it to the floor. The floor had been neatly trimmed back, and the inner cill is in excellent condition, so why on earth was it left like this. You can see the weld marks where the new panel was fitted - all I can think of is whoever repaired it didn't know how the panels where fitted together or they were just lazy b******s who couldn't be bothered doing a proper job - shame really because the panels seem to have been fitted well.
Anyway although it is one huge step backwards (again) the metal that is there is good so repairs will be straight forward - that is if I had any gas for the mig - it ran it out again and it was too late to go and get some[V] I spent the time making up the repair panels and giving the back of them a dose of Aquasteel- I'll get some gas in the morning and set to work again :p
