looking superb there! Yet more inspiration! You're going to have so much fun driving round in that getting it setup this autumn. All that lovely cold dense air helping you go fast!
OH YES [8D]
Just hope it will get through on emissions [xx(] I've set it up as best I can but It's a bit lumpy with the hot cam. It actually looks better in the photos than it really is [8)], I seem to have polished through the paint in places and there still some textured finish here and there - but it was never meant to be a show winner and I like it [^]
Spent an hour constructing my 'camp kitchen' this afternoon - I might go into production
its looking good panky but it will fail the mot as the colour of the head clashes with the block . one thing i would advise is lose the standard fuse box for something else, as they are a notorious source of problems on minis [xx(][V]
"you were only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off no.3"
So are the half dozen in-line fused I traced tangled in the wiring on the bulkhead by the carb [V] Fan, hazard flashers to name a couple of things that didn't work until I found them :I
Hey Tim, you wouldn't happen to have a heater matrix, the inside resembled a sauna - steam coming out of the screen vents - until I by-passed the heater [:0]
tis truly a thing of beauty [^]- wonderful photos Panky - all the very best for MOT tomorrow, exciting stuff - let us know how it goes once you get back from testers. If it passes then expect to hear from you about Wednesday or Thursday - think it'll be far too tempting to blast around the back lanes to find time to sign in here for a few days - happy motoring
i do have a complete heater, which is earmarked for the slyder, but i dont think i will be needing it for a while yet so if you want it its yours, just replace it for me at a later date, howzat [?]

Sounds good, I might try some radweld for the trip to the Forrest - it might be a bit nippy[xx(]. I let you know how successful it is and maybe you could bring it to Redshoot if I'm still stuck.
Mini is looking well There is a place behind Bank quay station who brakes Mini's.
Sorry about haveing to cancell the other night I will explain when I see you. Had to make a quick dash over there Friday night
Passed eventually[8D] By the time I got to the MOT station the rear lights had packed up (the wife said they were on as I drove off) and emissions where way high[xx(]. I had a fiddle but managed to make the exhaust fumes even denser and couldn't sort out the lights, so I went to work and left them to it. Got a call about 2 o' clock and they had fixed it, a loose wire on the fuse box (you told me so Tim :I) and the top off the carb to drop the needle down a bit - all done.
It goes much better than before (must be the working lights) but I haven't gone far because my insurance documents haven't arrived and I can't tax it [V]. I think I'll look for a rolling road and get a proper job done [}]
