Back of the garage

I couldn't find any thermal blinds that would fit so I made some :)

It's a bit crinkly as the material came folded not rolled but hopefully the creases will become less obvious with use.
Note gaffer tape reinforcement inside around the suckers as the material is quite thin.

Same here, been out a while with kids getting the way - great job done. That colour choice is spot. Can’t wait to her her in the flesh

I was thinking back to some of the horror stories we've heard about recovery vehicles wrecking track rod arms because they couldn't find anything else to attach a tow rope and the general lack of any towing points. Not that I'm planning any breakdowns I decided to attempt to address the problem.
Big chunk of 8mm x 25 mm bar was bent into shape to match the curves of the bumper bracket and a 16mm hex connector welded on with a 10mm x 25mm plate as a spacer.

A van towing eye with a matching thread was used.

Fitted in place

I had to take a couple of mm of the eye to clear the bumper when screwing the eye into place.

I'll probably make another for the other side for completion.

Nah I wouldn't want my handy work to fail on someone else's van at the critical moment, I've no problem with anyone copying or improving the design though.

Yep the same mounting holes with an extra bolt near the front of the bracket. The bracket should be pretty secure with the 8mm bar supporting it.

More of the same, I had enough flat bar to make another towing eye for the other side.

While I was under there I noticed the brake master cylinder is weeping a little so that will be the next job:rolleyes:
