After a bit of filling and rubbing down and after a couple of attempts I managed to get a reasonably neat bead of seam sealer in the panel and gutter joints

I was disappointed at the match it looked a mile off until I put a dab of new paint onto the original, it's actually not too far off:) I guess I need a few more coats to cover the grey primer:I
The dash top and inside of the frame is also painted - I'll be needing your help soon Bernie;)

He's not far off[8D]
Still on the look out for a pair of rocker shafts though, so he can run as smooth as he looks:)

And so to the valence:)
Over the last few days I've done most of it, as usual it wasn't straight forward:I

The lower valance was rotten and full of filler but the centre section of the fluted part also needed replacing. I decided not to bother with the inner valence panel so chopped it off back to good metal - there was also a small piece that needed letting in.

The piece under drivers side step was also knackered but as I never throw anything out I had some bits to put another one together:)

Roughly shaped and tacked together

Tacked in place - a bit of dressing up and it should look OK

One half of the valance in place along with the centre section repair

Plenty of cleaning up and a couple of small repairs still to do but not a bad few days work:)
