It's a very well known car in Citroen circles and was the subject of a comparison with a modern car - and I think it won :cool:


I've been looking for aBX for a long time and this car is jut perfect for us - a suitable replacement for the Mini I think:)
 
Most of the pipework has been renewed, including the 'octopus', and the rest of hydraulics have been overhauled in the last few years. I fact the whole car has been extensively restored over the same period :cool:
 
Lovely choice - I thought I saw it advertised briefly on instagram too? Does it have built in blinds in the back? I'm sure I remember them from a daytrip in one as a kid
 
It does have blinds yes but I don't think it was actually advertised. Rich was selling a red TRS that I was interested in but there was someone before me in the queue so I missed out. I asked him if he knew of any others and he told me his Dad was thinking of selling (the GT) as he hardly ever used it since the restoration - so I jumped at it :)
 
Good choice for a Peugeot, and it was a great car, but the BX 16v uses the same engine but higher power with a lighter body and is technically more interesting - in my opinion ;)
 
Used to have a GSA many many years ago. Changed the front bulbs immediately as it was easy and cheap but the rears were solid. Was amazing once I’d saved enough to change those - prior to that it was an death trap including a 540 degree spin on the local bypass at 70mph
 
It's been too cold and damp in the garage for bodywork on Harvey so I've had to entertain myself with other things;)
It finally stopped raining long enough for a swift wipe over and grab a few pics in the gloom. Sorry it's the BX again but I do love it:)
