Actually, although the pedal is higher and more solid, they feel a bit less responsive, I guess they need to bed in a bit:I Also put a new set of leads on, the kid in Halfrauds tried to help but looked blank when I told him was they were for. "I'll check on the database" he said "It won't be on it" I said - it wasn't. So I came home with a set for a Mini, they fit perfect[8D]

We had 'rather alarming cracks in the linings' on the front drivers side too and lifting. Non-riveted and the bond failing. Sobering innit.
 
lol, cool. mine will be needing a full service soon. then i want to fit electronic ignition, fan and k&n. but long way to go yet. looking forward to seeing harvey at a meet soon lol

I can recommend the SimonBBC electronic points off ebay, they're a lot cheaper that the full conversion but I've found them to be great. Others have had mixed results with then though:I
