Well, Mr P you already know this but as you plainly need an ego boost (anything if it helps inspire you to get cracking) Before we even got Smurf your kind words and encouragement talked us into getting our 1st van, and when we did you was/are always there to help and give us the confidence to attemp repairs ourselves and was always quick to respond to our questions on here, you were also on the end of the phone with help at times....your botg thread has been such an inspiration to us, as I'm sure it has to others too! .....I think it was Practical Classics that used to have a regular feature entitled 'Wallaces Wisdom' where folk would write in with technical problems and he would always come up with a clever but easy explanation of how to tackle the problem, he reminds me of you ...So, cheers to Panky, ''The Wallace of Commerland'' .......is that enough yet? am I overdoing it? lol[8D]

hey panky,i have not read all 146 pages but i did know you had a mini-if you want a pedal box for your car give me a shout.
meant to say i know you have a mini-not had a mini- anyway we manufacture pedal boxs(currently redeveloping a new mini pedal box so there will be some old stock available.
Thanks Matt I'll bear it in mind, no problem with the original one at the mo but good to know if I need one. The poor Mini is stranded in the BOTG just now with the mother of all oil leaks:I Something to keep me busy when the jobs on the vans are done

oh forgot to mention it would be bias adjustable-which means you can adjust your braking i.e increase the braking to the front or rear whilst in motion).
I've managed to snatch a couple of hours over the last few weekends while it's been dry, and almost warm:I
Martin's new inner step panel offered up
The botton 4" of the wheel arch was a bit frilly so a new section was fabbed and tacked in place with the new inner cill
and from underneath, the two panel returns will be pulled together and welded in place
I shaped the end of the inner step to fit around the outrigger under the cab floor
The outer step just placed on top to check for fit - it does[8D]
I had to chop the jacking point out as it is pretty rotten, makes it easier the get the new panel in
Plenty of scaping, wire brushing and Aquasteeling to do once the weldings done:I but it feels good to have the welder out again
