Baby seats

Hello as I have a baby due in November I have started looking at fitting a baby seat, have tried to a search on the forum, but cant find much info, has anyone any experience of this, and could I fit one rear facing one in the passengers seat and maybe fit a middle seat for my lady, and me driving ??can you fit seat belts in the middle though?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
thanks Cemlyn

As demonstrated by Stan a baby seat can be fitted in the front:)

If there is a type that can be fixed using a lap belt then I guess you can fit one on a middle seat too.

Summer's here.....

Thanks Panky,I would have put money on you coming up with the link I couldn't find,

Thanks also Mark

Need a middle seat then..

if it helps i have got both 3 point and lap belt on the front middle seat, when my baby was a small one the seat would fit fine in the middle but now she is forward faceing the seat gets in the way of the gear lever so she has to go on the passengers seat anyway

We had to lengthen the belt to go round the rear facing seat, it is now uber long for the front facing seat but still works fine:p. Our lap belt is just fixed to the existing seatbelt mounts on the top of the engine bay. There is a post somewhere about the lengtheing of the belts, the company was very quick and the belts are great, it was someone on the forum who had recommended them.

Actually I should probably have a look....

The front facing seat we have now fits well due to its shape and it has really good ratchet system on it (only thing is for a small baby it doesn't fix onto the buggy wheels etc)

We paid about £70 for ours in sale:I (I think it was the previous years colour.....luckily it matched the van:D)

Not forgetting that Tim offers a fitting solution to this problem to allow a 3 point belt fitted to the middle seat[8D]
