I've picked up a junk Weber 32/36 DGV carb for prototyping a twin-choke setup up with a modified Solex manifold on a Holbay engine (once proven, I will replace with a newby

A question for peeps with an alloy headed engine, next time you're near your engine and have a tape measure to hand an approx. an approximate height from your inlet manifold would be really appreciated
I'm hoping there's enough vertical space available under the engine cover - I need approx 100mm for the carb plus 67mm for a slim plenum from the manifold. Fingers crossed ...
