Autosleeper Wanted

Dear All

I've been on the look out for the past few years for a nice example of an Autosleeper.

After narrowly missing out on the 'Dutch Courage' van late last year, I'm now back to square one.

I've even looked at VWs (the dark side) but with the many happy childhood memories of holidaying with my parents in their Commer Autosleeper, that's really my prefer route (or should that be Roote).

So if any of you good people are thinking of parting with your pride and joy or know someone who is please let me know.

I couldn't part with mine, but good luck in your search. The dodge Greg is looking at looks lie quite a good project, even though the condition isn't fantastic.

Hi Richard, Martin would be the best person to speak to , sure if you spoke nice to him he might sell that nice slyder auto sleeper he is working on, or he can give you some hot tips....the gems seem to find him .
 
Thanks for the reply Mr Rusty - I've already been in discussion with Martin, and initial my response was that the sliding doors weren't my cup of tea, but I'm not exactly spoilt for choice at the minute.

Hi Richard their was a green auto sleeper for sale on the forum, under vehicles for sale. I know Lucy had a look at it and thought there was to much work for her. It's 1968 so a good old one.

If I see one more grease nipple........
 
Thanks for that Andrew, yes I'd already had a look at the photos of that one (I check out the vehicles for sale section every day!) but I'm really after one in good condition rather than a project.
