Autosleeper rear cushion question

Hi all, need to get some foam to make the rear cushions in Kate, we were wondering what thickness to get 3 or 4". Many thanks in advance Scott.

Originals are 4" thick

The space down the side of driver side bench (where the table is stored)is 3" wide.

Did you get a chance to look around an Autosleeper to see how the seats are arranged?

Yes, I went down to south Devon to meet triumph dan and managed to get loads of pics from his donor van, at the time was such a long way from even thinking about cushions I never took any notes!
Got the seats and cupboards finished a little while ago and am starting to think about the trim now. The cost of fabric and foam is an eye opener though! I'll be making the door cards, trimming the dash myself but not sure what to do with the headliner yet, was thinking about gluing 1/4" foam and then vinyl straight to the roof but not sure what to do for the best.
I've been quoted locally around £35 labour per cushion in the rear with piped edges

Dohhhh - just looked back at your interior pics silly me[8)]
Normally the Autosleeper has a hinged cushion back that sits at a slight angle from the seat base to just under the window, original lockers don't actually sit right up against the side of the van - and the table slots in down to floor level. I'll go and get some pics to show what I mean:I

I remember it well:) Did you fit hinged backs, the cushions won't sit right other wise:I

Yes, they sit at a slight angle when in the forward racing position, I think Dans cushions had tabs with presstuds on to hold it all in place ?

Yes there are the 'racing' flaps:D
And then there are these for the non-racing seating position.

They lay flat so that you get the full width of the van when the bed is up

Cheers John, Harvey is different still, dans didn't have that big piece of hinged wood (so neither does mine!) thanks for the pics . It looks like my interior is a mix of all different auto sleeper styles!
