My C.I. autohome (the Dog) is currently undergoing restoration with Woolfy so you can see some info on the restoration under readers rides "theres life in the old dog yet"
One thing i will say, mine has the 1.8 perkins diesel i think the autohome must be that bit heavier and therefore need the torque of the diesel (probably at the price of speed though)
Some dont like them as they prefer the smaller more compact pop tops

The Dog is on its way....

Hi thanks for your replys. I spoke to Martin A.k.A (woolfie) he is on the lookout for me, noticed on the forum there was one in tyne & wear but im near southampton not that i don't trust the reliability of the commer. Also i own/run petrol station on the a343 between andover and newbury at a little village called hurstbourne tarrant so if any members are ever travelling this way to the west country please pop in and say hi kettle always on and a ramp always free if running repairs required!!! all the best clayton

Hey clayton; chasbaps and I are in Alton, not too far so when we get fresh paperwork this year we may pop in for a visit and then lunch at Nelson's on the 339 :) or Heston's Little Chef of course...

Good evening Clayton and welcome to the Madhouse:D
Unfortunately there is no known prevention or cure so you will just have to wait while the creeping madness eats deep into your brain to the point where nothing else will held in the grey matter - well it happened to me:I

You have just missed a couple of Highwaymen on ebay, have patience there will be more[^]

Hi there. yeah i went last weekend and viewed it. i have been weighing it up all week! to be honest wasn't great and seller bit vague on any real technical bits. Front floor wasnt too bad front sill section pretty ropey and at £700 thought bit strong. although to be honest havent got much to compare it against so was i being too harsh on the old girl? many thanks for the link tho cheers

Hello and welcome to the loony bin, that doesnt look a bad price for a highwayman to me, i payed £350 for my wifes autohome with no tax or MOT or rear interior and that was way before the prices started to rocket, so that looks a great starting point. good luck with the seach!:D

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labottomy!

I will contact you shortly about Percy.. I will match the asking price for that Commer in the link £800 as is- no offers.
