Atomic show - Northampton 20th and 21st August

Anyone going to this show? We booked ages ago for the other half's birthday, and now have a Commer to camp in, so it'll be even better!!
 
We'll ne at Tatton Park with a bunch of other Commers so you may be on you own;)
Looks like you pick up mission to Scotland was successful:)
 
I thought that might be the case - I was too late for that this year - 2017 perhaps! Mission Inverness to Bath was a roaring success, no problems at all, although I think she'll need a bit of a tune-up after such a long shake-down journey!

I'm going to this again as it was so good last year.
I'll look out for your van and pop over to say hello. Wife and I will be in a white/orange VW bay.
 
Ideal - the family and I will be in the big GAY Commer!! It was in doubt earlier this morning, but a repair to a cracked exhaust manifold should see us through!
 
Typical! I had to replace the cranking battery today as it refused to keep a charge all of a sudden. I think old vans just know when your about to take them on a road trip.
 
You maybe better with wellies tomorrow! I've got a 3hr journey with only a pair of arthritic windscreen wipers between me and the driving rain.
 
wear waterproof trousers too. If your van is like mine you get dripped on or get a wet leg when you press the clutch
 
Ended up tenting it due to mechanical issues - annoyingly it was only simple stuff, but just ran out of time in the end. Definitely go again though. Didn't see any Commers, but some very nice Bedford's were in attendance.

Atomic was fantastic again this year and we'll definately go again next year.
I did look out for you but not a Commer in sight, but now I know why.
There was a very tidy Bedford parked up behind me but it reminded me how small they are compared to other vans.
