Arthur

I was thinking about this to day driving to barn & wondered when she would arrive! Congratulations. Well done Becky. Feeling broody now aww.

welcome to the world Carys Grace! (I've got a Catherine Grace!)
Hope you have lots of Commer adventures with your family!

So I share my baby mechanic steps to encourage others.

One manifold gasket changed and my engine is running sweetly again.

Happy days. Thanks for all the advice.

It's been a while... Been restricted in vanage by beautiful small person, but now needing to prioritise my boy again ahead of 2019...

Some ongoing efforts under the bonnet not quite resolved so taken to soft furnishings that I can't mess up!

Got an old can bunk from Martin. Recovered it by hand and bought four brackets...

Qu 1: do I need self tapping screws to go into the cab frame?
Qu 2: if so what size (how long)... If not what do I need?
Qu 3: anyone got photos of how high up the frame they go?

Well hello, only seems like days;)
Originally the brackets would have been attached in place of the grab handles on the A pillars and fixed to the seat belt mounting points on the B pillars. haven't got any pics sorry.

Whoop... Got out in 2019...

Just a short trip for a picnic at the local National Trust... But a solid run..

Arthur now sporting a number of new bits... A Martin manifold / exhaust and a Hif38 replacing the 44...

Generally better running... Some fine tuning required... But blessed to have Carburettor Exchange 20m behind my house!

Cheers Panky. The large carb was just too much to tune so hopefully this one is better. But an oil warning light to worry about now...

Glad to see he is out and about. The oil light is probably on because of a stuck oil pressure relief valve..... ask me how I know lol.
