I spotted this van a couple of years ago on the way to Stonehenge - it definitely wasn't in West Sussex then. Hopefullt it hasn't met its final demise[V]

I have emailed Phil and the van itself is not for sale as he is restoring it. he did say that he was hoping to swap the high top for a pop up type roof if anyone is interested:)

He plans a 3 litre Merc engine and 4 speed auto ..................... I like the sound of that!

Hi Everyone, Thanks Enigma for the password help. Mr.Panky is spot on - I bought this van from an old hippy near Stonehendge who had it sat outside his house for 6-7 years. He didnt want to sell it, but we agreed on £800 and it was mine. Engine was shot, interier was poop, so I ripped the whole lot out and started again. Cant believe my luck really because the underside is A1 condition, no welding needed apart from the roof gutters. Anyway, Im selling the roof as i cant get it in my workshop and would prefere a solid, or a poptop anyway. Anyone interested - Let me no!!
Thanks, Phil.
Oh yeah, I am going for the Merc 3ltr 24v straight 6, jag rear end (narrowed by 270mm all in) And 4 speed auto. Should be interesting!

Hi phil...you are welcome for the help mate:) Sounds like you are going to have one mean van there:D
