Any threads about model changes?

do you have any specific questions? I think there are some idiosyncracies due to the companies which converted the vans to campers holding on to old models for a little while before converting them.
As far as I know, (and I have been wrong in the past!) apart from the PA to PB (front - rear handbrake), most stuff can be swapped across the model changes. There is also a late/early starter motor to worry about (amongst other things) and of course the Dodge facelift.
The other thing is that lots of vans will have been heavily fiddled about with by now so there is a good chance someone has already upgraded your van for you!

I have a single garage (with a turf roof and patio door, perfect for seeing any classic vehicle from the garden) which would probably take 2m's in Van height but the slope on the drive leading down to it will be a problem.
I was going to have hinged wooden doors made but my budget is stretched a bit too much at the moment.
I would love to get the Commer in there as I have a full compressor / welder bodyshop setup now currently being used by a '71 vw fastback (Was being done for shows but is taking a back seat to the commer!).
Have thought about trying to come up with a way of removing the wheels and using those wheel trolley things on casters to drop its height if it won't fit.
