After last month getting Lilly through the her MOT... I'm in for yet another kicking this month on my Landrover!...
New fuel pump, fuel filter, glow plugs, oil filter, rotor filter, air filters, oil & injectors...Omg what's going to kick me next?... Any aspirations of sourcing parts this month for Lilly will have to wait. O & just to compound things further I got my quote back for removing the whole rear end of Lilly including the frame.
All New ally frame, fit x2 new ally sides, re-fit roof , deflector & rear & re-trim to seal up... x40-50hrs at £35 per hr....
 
I know the feeling:( Just bought two radius arm pivot kits for the Mini 8£ - EACH:eek:
 
One blessing is there are no ECUs or myriad of sensors that go pop and if it plays up you don’t gave to pay a garage £70 to have them plug it in and say ‘can’t find any faults.’
 
Had a full major service done on my daily 530d a couple of months ago. Cost the same as I paid to buy my previous two Beemers! Would have been another grand on top at a main dealer.
