I like the Merc but as the guy says it'll be noisy [xx(]. You're pretty close to that big lump of a diesel engine (you are in a Commer come to think of it :I).

That's it I must be comm(er)ited.In a vain attempt to purchase a Commer I have looked at these as well, and find myself liking the Merc. Trouble is I work 9-5 on the east side of the country and all the commers seem to be coming up on the west. TC's with the vendors inform me many people are looking and will be sold by the weekend. Anyone know of a PA/pre '73 PB Autosleeper or Dormobile for sale in the south east? JulieDaisy - (I wont stray onto your North East territory) or in the West who would take some pictures/ give advise on purchase of Commers local to them
 
I like the Merc, its quirky enough to be a bit different from the rest! good luck with the search Mr Alpine:D

do you think we should have a north south divide? anything in north is ours and in south yours - :D:D most things we have seen come up recently have all been down the south:( but things starting to move up here :)!!

hubby in total agreement he loves the merc but i am staying true to the commer:D
