DUKE!

I had a look at the green one last year, but it went for a little to much for me. I'm very pleased with Skye, which i purchased from a member on this site. She made it up to the peak district, then she carried on to Snowdon, and all the way back, didn't miss a beat. Again a big thank you to all the hints and tips received from this site.

Patience was key in getting Skye, and a certain amount of travelling about to view vans. Rember the blinkers go on when you view your dream van. potential problems can vanish in front of your eyes, I think there is a guide to buying vans on this forum!

Come out come out who ever you are - we want to meet you :I
Reveal yourself - in the 'admit you bought it' sense of the word:)

I know it looked like a good van but £3k..what is pushing the prices up?
Is it the summer or just twitchy ebay fingers?

kjh;)

We feel the same , seems to be going down the road of vw prices , hugely over priced for a vehicle that every body seems to have and thinks is worth a small fortune , being either full of filler or requiring major welding.Commers on the other hand are scarce and getting scarcer for a good project , we have been looking for a year with no luck , yesterday there was one in perth went for £720 on e-bay and has appeared again today.????
Will just have to persevere ........will get a auto sleeper one day

Davie.

It's not just Commers - ebay fingers seem to be pushing the price of a lot of things up. I was reading an article the other day about disapearing scrap yards - there are a growing number of the ones left that only sell on ebay and not direct to the public - they wouldn't do that if there wasn't money in it for them.

Hmmmmm, it's not the staightest; but on the other hand, it is a Wanderer which is a pretty funky conversion in my eyes.
