Another Canadian Van

Had an email yesterday from a guy in Canada. He has a very early van, chassis number VH00040**:p. It's registered as a '59, but I don't think they made 4000 between Nov/Dec of that year[?] That makes it some 1200 before the Butchers van, the engine number is also 1200 before :)
He is just about to start restoring it, despite the surface rust, appears to be in amazing condition.

Hope that purple grille in the back isn't going to be used, so the nose stays original :D:D
 
Someone did tell me about a '59 Maidstone in Jersey, but not confirmed [?]
