Has anyone put any alternative mirrors on their buses?
Im looking for some shiny chrome ones on Fleabag so if ya could recommend any it would be gratefully recieved.Or if its a no no for whatever reason again id like to know.cheers

I have bought one of Jule's bolt ons but not fitted yet.

chasbaps got some really good convex ones he may tell you about

It is indeed!

I bought some of Commerjules of these parts - www.ratsport.co.uk

They are lucas type, with convex glass which means that although the mirrors are pretty small, you can even see into the overtaking/blind zone. Really reccomend them, but remember, when everyone is sporting them - I HAD THEM FIRST ;)

Very, I was amazed at how well they work as the mirrors are not that far away, and are meant to be wing mounted, but I can see from the side of the van, right through to the blind spot. They are right on the limits of the adjustment though, and the small size does mean that you have to check carefully... But they really do look great, and I think they suit the van perfectly.

do you reckon they'd work on my van???
with the autohome body i've got an extra few inches of width to see past....?
in fixing a new passenger door, i've managed to lose half the stalk and the door fixing of my old mirror... so, kinda need a new one...
 
They're pretty close to the body, so think you might need to find another solution Nancye. Jules has some others on his site with a longer arm, but think they are clip ons.

i also stock wing mirrors for the vans ,and they are the exact same ones as the originals but new. i will have some more new ones on the weekend and i will show you them.;):p
