Good job, cheers Panky! That VW belongs to my mate Leon. I think the Bus looks sad as it must know that its owner must secretly prefer one of these beauties! [8D]
I love the fish eye pics! I went to see this one down in Devon back in May. I remember the front valance being a work of art (in filler :I). Roof rot seems to be a common issue with the Wanderers; great looking conversion though.
Chamba you went to see it then, i gambled and bought it without seeing it. The bloke told me a few porkies over the phone but hey ho! Your right the front valance is unbelievable, it probably cost more in filler than it would have cost to weld it! Ive found scouring pads, cardboard and newspaper bulking it out so far!!
I also bought mine without viewing it, but I paid so little that I could not refuse to buy it. Even if only the wheels were the only good thing left I would have been ok.

Well I was holidaying in Devon anyway, so it would have been rude not to. I told the missus it would be a 10 minute detour which kind of translated into a 1 hour after a few wrong turns courtesy of Google maps; oops! I would have been tempted to buy it blind otherwise.
Good luck with it; I have the feeling you're going to do a very nice job
Hi Luke, is that the van you've just taken on?
I think they were originally posted on photo bucket but I did transfer a lot over to Imgur, I have a root round later. Can you post a picture of it in your ownership to remind me what I'm looking for.
Panky, I haven't got this van.
I've bought a wanderer from Jamie Lloyd. But I'm debating taking the roof off for restoration but I want to see what's underneath where it attaches to the van etc.
I wanna see the hole size
Sorry Luke, I've searched through my Imgur account and iCloud but can't find any relevant pictures
The main issue with the Wanderer roof is that there is only a small section of the original roof left after the hole is cut for the pop top. This rots out because the pop top sides create a water trap with the roof edge. I'm pretty sure its pop riveted together.
Have fun
