Air Filters!

HI, I am off to find a paper replacement filter, does anyone know what part number, or what I might find in Halfors that would fit?

And yes, I know I should be replacing it with a K&N - if they have one in stock I will do that instead!!!!

hello,
the speedy spares part number is AP17/VFA152. I may have one "in stock" if you need it. Halfrauds won't have the K&N, I'd recomend just ordering one for nexttime (there is a link somewhere)

cheers

I just had a quick search around for K&N filters and couldn't find anything....

then I realised there is a sticky topic right at the top of the mechanical hints and tips section!!!

I fitted one (properly now - it used to involve an old bean can) and it is rather good, makes a fair bit of difference with an RC40 exhaust.

They can be adapted and work wonders on the Commer engine :I

I love that exhaust and have already been toying with the idea of doing something similar.

The air filter looks interesting - what kind of fan is it? I have a few powerful pc fans kicking about which could be bodged into something similar:p.....

Its built in as part of the filter kit, so didnt really examine it further. I will be selling these kits on RatSport when i get around to it :I
