It may have been. Death in family means they are now selling. The father may have put it on market. I went with my neighbour and it turned out he had know them for years. That may have eased the sale.

Have had a quick email with martin about flat door panels as hope they aren't all filler like panky warned. So can make a list of bits i will need. Has anybody made interior units out of acrylic panels instead of ply/mdf?

Not personally but it looks like the carcasses are where they should be so should get away with doors and drawer fronts. It's an Auto-Sleeper and the units are solidly made - you might get away with removing the molding stuff and rubbing it down.

Fair shout. I've had a real good look. They are a bit tired and the blue inlay is blue plastic film sheet. would look much better with solid inlays. Will have to see
