Advice for first time camping in the van

Thank you Soup, please dont go to any trouble, the link you sent actually also has a customer picture which helps give a good idea. Have you found the net sides make it too exposed if there is rain or is it nice having it feel more open?
It’s no bother lol you just have to remind me. It hasn’t rained, but rain won’t blow through a net that’s vertical. Place I worked at years ago was repairing a net holder for polistyrene packaging and it caught fire. Fire extinguisher water couldn’t get through netting holes to put contents out so should be fine

I found one of these at a darkside meet. Butler tractor work lamp thing. It has it’s own extension cable and I have an old socket in R2 that it actually fits. Stuck on a pole instant outdoor lightingC508484F-0A69-4646-9BA8-3F71BAA03710.jpeg

No probs. Looked to see if others sell them, quite expensive though. Hopefully they will have them soon. If not direct your local store might

Thank you very much and thanks for going to the effort of putting it up for me to see. Much appreciated!

Not related to bringing things, but when we camp, the very first thing we do is set up the bed, then slide our luggage underneath the bed and out of the way. The first few times we spent a lot of time setting and unsetting up different interior configurations. Now we just get everything out and easy to access.

Hi and welcome. Any imput is good. My bed is also seating ‘area’ so not an option. My clothes stay in bag under seat. It time will get 2 of those zipped bags for linen. As the clean empties the dirty fills. Same overal volume but keeps them separate etc

Ref your cool box. All the meat that you won’t eat for a day or two, freeze it and put it in cool box to help keep the temp low
